In 2001 the Easter party had to be held in Spooners because the foot and mouth restrictions prevented us from running a special train. The party was a great success, we didn't quite manage to drink the pub dry but it was a close run thing. Not everybody was in fancy dress, but most of those that were had made a really good effort.
